Clary and Simon decide to become  a real couple. Clary and Jace and Simon and others go to the faerie queen to ask for help against Valentine. Clary drinks something there; she becomes unable to leave. the faerie queen says that if the one she longs for the most kisses her, she can leave. Simon kisses her, but nothing happens. Jace is the one who sets her free. =while battleing Valentine, Clary and Jace discover they have unique abilities.

Clary sneeks to the city of glass after Jace. There they meet Sabastion.  Clary and Jace’s father, Valentine, says that he will take over the city of glass. Jace finds out that he may have demon blood in him. He belives he’s evil. He kill someone who says that they are the true son of Valentine. Clary and Jace learn why they are so attracted to eachouther and they can’t help but be togather.
